None of us humans are always correct. Sometimes we are sure we know what is right and we try to fix a bad situation. We do our best to be helpful. We are off the mark if we fail to be loving as we take action to help someone. Only God is all-knowing (omniscient) and perfect. 1 John 3:20 confirms that God is all-knowing and we need to follow Jesus and do all things in love. Only God knows the hearts and minds of all people. Pray this Scripture. I am using the KJV in this post, but use the translation that blesses your heart.
Focus on God
Father of Love, sanctify me in You and Your Holiness. Jesus, please help me pray this Scripture honestly with my whole heart. Lord God, be glorified as You move on this prayer and help me follow You in love.
1 John 3:18-24 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him.
