Eph 6:18 tells us to pray on all occasions with all kinds of prayer requests. There is no need too great or small for God. It is the relationship with God and others that is most important. Prayer is an act of love connecting us to our God that loves us as He also loves Jesus. We are His children. The children of His Son the Messiah.
God Cares About Our Concerns
God cares about everything we care about: our education, our place of worship, our family, friends, work, finances, chronic illnesses, living conditions due to government laws and institutions, our government and people in authority, our military and loved ones serving in the military, our hope for our future and world peace, the death of our loved ones, victims of accidents or crimes, those traveling for work or vacation and uncountable numbers of unspoken prayers that are too complicated or too sensitive in nature to discuss with others.
Open My Eyes
Lord God Almighty, please sanctify me and all that is on my heart and mind in Your holiness through Christ Jesus. I know You love me and love those I love even more than I do. You care about our protection, well being and our peace of mind. You have a plan for our lives and a purpose for each of us. Open my eyes to see You moving and blessing us. Please bless those I love and care about especially. Help me remember to be thankful and praise You for all of our blessings. In the name of Jesus be glorified for who You are and what You do for those we love and pray for. Amen.
