A prayer does not need to be long and full of many words. An honest prayer is the first step towards a blessing from God. God respects our choices. We are free to love or reject Him. He expects us to respect Him as our creator (parent), just as we would also want to be respected if we were the parent (creator). The big difference is that we are not perfect parents, and God is perfect and Holy in all His ways. We love ourselves and others conditionally. God is love and loves His children unconditionally. Let us start each day before we get out of bed, remembering to say to our Heavenly Family, “Good Morning. I love You. Please come and be with me today.”

Start the Day With a Short Prayer

Lord God Almighty, Your Holy Spirit lives within me because You love me and have saved me from my sin. I am Your child. Fill me and cover me in the Holy Armour of God, which is Your Holy Spirit. Father, Your will be done as You live and move daily in every aspect of my life. May Your perfect love and Holy Spirit guide and protect me today in the Holy name of Your Messiah, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus, for my salvation. Be glorified because of who You are and how You bless me through this prayer each day. Amen.

John 3:16-18(KJV)
