Waiting on God is so much better than waiting on human beings. When you are waiting on a person it seems you have to stay alert and often your life must be put on hold. This seems to be especially true when you’re waiting in line or have a Doctor’s appointment. While I wait on God to answer a prayer, I am able to live my life while waiting. I can expectantly hope that God is moving closer each day to bringing about my blessing. I can rest assured that when God makes a promise that He will keep it. God does not have a waiting room in heaven because, He teaches us to move forward and live while we wait on His blessings.
Perfect Timing
I think the reason we have to wait on God is that He does things perfectly. That means when a prayer is answered it is the perfect time for that prayer to be manifested here on Earth. Yet, sometimes I grow tired of waiting and I remind God I am still waiting. God strengthens me when I go to Him and pray honestly about my feelings and concerns. God cares about our feelings and wants us to come and discuss our thoughts and feelings with Him.
Lord Be Glorified
Lord God Almighty, sanctify me in Your Holiness through Christ Jesus. Thank you for the peace I have in You. Waiting on God is a blessing as You redeem me from my fears. I like knowing that You know that I am waiting expectantly on You to answer my prayers. It gives me peace to know that You are moving on my prayers even though I cannot see the evidence. I trust You to keep Your promises. Sometimes I grow tired of waiting on You, but You give me Your strength and encourage me to stand strong with expectant hope. Sometimes I wonder if I have misunderstood You because, I expected a quicker answer. If I have misunderstood You, please help me pray according to Your Plan and hope expectantly in You. Please give me understanding if I am lacking and give me Your peace as I wait. Father of Love, Your will be done. You are Holy and full of mercy and grace. Lord Jesus, I am waiting for You to bless those I have prayed for. Jesus in Your Holy name I pray that our Father will be Glorified in Your work. Amen.
