While in the process of waking up this morning I heard what sounded like a News Report. They said they were going to be reporting on the future condition of the Human Race in five years. The News Reporter said, “Humanity has sunken to an all-time low.” Then I heard another announcement quickly following, “However, God has brought hope.”
We Can Talk to God About Our Dreams
I was very upset as I sat up in bed. I wrestled with my feelings that the World had not gotten better. I was depressed the World was going to be even worst in five years. I had been praying for the World. Were all of my prayers in vain? What difference was Hope going to make in the World? I had to do a quiet time with God right away because I felt so hopeless for the future of the World. I felt a sense of peace return to my spirit as I prayed. I realized that a warning coming from God is to let us know it is only a temporary troubling time. He brings Hope because, He has plans to do something at the proper time. He will deliver His people. He has a plan, and it is good. Hope keeps us going through the hard times. Hope sustains and strengthens us during the hard times. Psalm 31:24 “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord”. Psalm 119:116 “Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.”
Focus on God
Lord God Almighty in the name of Jesus Christ I praise You because our prayers and hope are found in You. Your willingness and ability to bless us is never in question and our prayers are never in vain. I ask that You send a revival of love and peace throughout our World. Bless Your people with grace and mercy. Please place prayers of love and peace in the mouths of Your people. Glorify Yourself through Your children and their prayers. Amen
