According to the Scriptures (Isaiah 1:18), the Lord wants us to walk with Him in righteousness and discuss everything with Him. An honest prayer is an opportunity to better understand how the Lord wants to bless us. He can help us learn from our struggles. If you have trouble being quiet during the listening part of your prayer, focus on a picture of Jesus or what it feels like to be in his presence. Wait for God to move in your prayer as you discuss how you feel and what you want to understand. Take your time as you pray and discuss any issues you have with the Lord.
