This page has three prayers. The first prayer is a meditative prayer to focus on Jesus. The goal of this page is to pray for gaining direction and clarity during a time when you feel Jesus the Messiah of God is calling you into some type of Christian Service. Wait for God to move in your prayer as you discuss how you feel and what you want to understand. Take your time as you pray and discuss any issues you have. According to the Scriptures (Isaiah 1:18), the Lord wants us to walk with Him in righteousness and discuss everything with Him. An honest prayer is an opportunity to better understand how the Lord wants to bless you. He can help you learn from your struggles.
This Page also includes two Videos at the bottom of the page that can be used instead of the written Guideline Prayers.
Begin your Prayer by first focusing on God…
Lord God Almighty, sanctify me in You in the name of Christ Jesus. Jesus, You called Peter to care for and teach Your followers (John 21:17). I am willing to follow You for the purpose You are calling me to because I love You. I believe You have asked me to feed Your sheep. Please give me clarity, direction, and understanding of how you want me to do this. I trust You to help me do anything and all things through You, which will strengthen me (Phil 4:13). You are the great I Am. The Lord of Hosts, nothing is impossible for You. Please bring to my mind how You want me to start and who I should talk to about this. Thank You for this honor and privilege. I know I can keep my eyes on You because You will equip me. Each day has its victory in You. In Your Holy name, I pray Jesus. Amen.
The second prayer is to remove hate and bitterness from the hearts of those called to Feed the Lambs of Jesus Christ. The third prayer is based on John 17:10-26 where Jesus prayed for all His Disciples.

Jeremiah 3:15 (KJV) And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
Prayer For Those Dealing with Hate and Bitterness
Lord God Almighty, sanctify me in the Holiness of You in the name of Christ Jesus. You are my healer, The Lord Who Heals in Exodus 15 that changed bitter waters into sweet water. I can trust You to replace the hate in my heart with Your healing love. I hate the congregation of evildoers, and my heart is torn from all of the hatred and bitterness. Redeem me and be merciful to me. I long to praise You wholeheartedly, but it is torn by this storm of hatred and bitterness within me. How can I serve You when my heart is held captive so easily by the storms of evil around me?
Even Moses could not enter the Promised Land because he gave into the raging storm within his heart. He sinned against You after so much faithfulness. I am weaker than Moses. How can I serve You with such an easily wounded heart? Jesus, please heal my whole heart so I will not sin against You. I want to keep my eyes on Jesus, the Messiah of God because You are righteous and can be trusted! I call upon You now because You are a faithful God, full of mercy and grace. Lord Jesus, Your thoughts are not my thoughts, and Your ways are not mine. You are without sin, and I fear I will fail You due to my human weaknesses. So, I put my weakness in Your hands now. You hate sin, but You love the sinner and want to save them from their sins. Help me be like You instead.
If You speak healing over me, I will be healed because Your Word accomplishes precisely what You want it to do. Will You heal me? If You say yes, I shall go out with joy and be led by You in peace. There will be singing and rejoicing all around me. I will see the Holy Spirit moving all around me and within me. Like King David, I will see even the trees clapping their hands because You have mended my broken heart and wounded spirit. You have anointed me and given me the covenant of David. Like David, I will have a heart for God and worship You wholeheartedly because You have shown me great mercy and love. Amen.
Disciples Prayer
Holy Father of Love, sanctify us in Your Son, the Messiah. He prayed for us all before He returned to You (John 17:10-26). He prayed for our salvation and redemption in Him. He prayed for our sanctification, unity, protection, and deliverance from evil. You are our Lord God Almighty. All things are possible for You. Remember us; Remember our Lord’s prayer for us. Help us love rightly and pray in Unity for Your Glory. Help us be of one mind and heart in You through Christ. Be glorified in us and through us as we follow the Messiah of God. Your Will be done within us as it is in Heaven. In Christ Jesus’s Holy name, I pray. Amen.
