Take your time as you pray and discuss any issues you have with the Lord. An honest prayer is an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of how the Lord wants to bless you. He can help you learn from your struggles. If something feels off or wrong, then stop and talk to God about what you are feeling and what you believe. Know this: God loves you more than you can fully comprehend, God has your best interest at heart, and God wants to bless you. Jesus and His Holy Spirit are with you to help, heal, and protect you. This Page also includes two Videos below. One is for putting on the Armor of God, and the other is for Deliverance. These videos can be used as an alternative to the written Guideline Prayers.
Prayerfully meditate on the Scripture Ephesians 6:10-18 either before you begin your prayer or where it is referenced in the prayer.
Ephesians 6:10-18 (KJV) 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Begin by focusing on God…
Holy Father of Love, Christ Jesus, sanctify me through Your Holy Spirit, as well as everyone, and everything You have given me and have placed in my life, even the air I breathe. I ask for Your protection and guidance through Your indwelling Holy Spirit as I pray. Dress me in the whole Armor of God (Eph 6:10-18). I pray this prayer, Lord Jesus, so that I can stand firm in the power and authority of You. Jesus, I trust You for the victory over ________. I ask You, the Great Physician and Wonderful Counselor to bind and remove this _____ from me, take it into Your hands, and do with it according to Your Perfect Will. Lord Jesus, thank You for Your healing light that saturates my Mind, Body, and Soul. Your Holy Spirit heals and strengthens me and makes me whole: Mind, Body, and Soul… I feel Your peace and know you want what is best for me. I am filled with Your Holy Spirit and know I am protected in Your love as You continue Your work within me. I am grateful and bless Your Holy name, Jesus. Thank you. Amen.
