Wait for God to move in your prayer as you discuss how you feel and what you want to understand. Take your time as you pray and discuss any issues you have with the Lord. According to the Scriptures (Isaiah 1:18), the Lord wants us to walk with Him in righteousness and discuss everything with Him. An honest prayer is an opportunity to better understand how the Lord wants to bless us. He can help us learn from our struggles. I have included this prayer here because it is a part of my personality. The goal of this prayer is to give strong, overbearing attributes of our personality to the Lord God for cleansing, healing, and His use.

Lord God Almighty, please sanctify me in You and fill me with Your Holy Spirit in the name of Christ Jesus. Please lead me in this prayer for my whole mind: imagination, memory, intellect, and will. Jesus, I desire to give up any double-mindedness to you. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Cor 5:17), however, I still use my intellect, will, mind, and imagination in harmful ways sometimes. Please bring to my mind now any thoughts You want me to give to You for cleaning and healing… I trust You to replace my harmful desires and thoughts with loving, more comforting, pleasurable, and holy desires that are more pleasing to You. I regret the misuse of my mind and trust You to forgive me, heal, and equip me as I now turn to give You my whole mind. My mind is in the representative form of a four-sided toolbox that needs to be cleaned, repaired, and strengthened by You. Jesus, You are good all of the time. I know I can trust You with the master key to my mind… Jesus thank You for gently cleaning my mind, healing, and protecting me through Your Holy Spirit. Now I can begin to use my whole mind for good instead… Holy Father of Love, thank You for the gentle, unconditional, and restorative love that You use to heal me. Nothing is impossible for God! Thank You for helping me grow in wisdom, faith, and love through Christ Jesus. Amen.
Stubborn Persistence Prayer
Lord God Almighty, Lord of Hosts, sanctify me in You. Sanctify all You have given me through Your Holy Spirit in the name of Christ Jesus. Bless me according to Your perfect will. There have been times when I have been stubborn and persistent in ways that were not pleasing to you. Take my Stubborn Persistence, cleanse it, anoint it, and make it Yours. Let it be for Your glory. My soul waits for You. Jesus, You are my rock and my salvation. You are my defense and by Your Holy Spirit, I will not be moved. I trust You and I can pour out my whole heart to You without fear because You have made Yourself known to me. Open my eyes to see and my ears to hear You now… Jesus, I follow You because I love You. I love You because You first loved me. Praise You, Lord of Hosts for the victory I have in You! Lord God Almighty be glorified today. Amen.
