This is a meditative prayer for gaining direction and clarity during a time of personal struggle. Wait for God to move in your prayer as you discuss how you feel and what you want to understand. Take your time as you pray and discuss any issues you have with the Lord. According to the Scriptures (Isaiah 1:18), the Lord wants us to walk with Him in righteousness and discuss everything with Him. An honest prayer is an opportunity to better understand how the Lord wants to bless us. He can help us learn from our struggles.

Holy Father of Love, I am struggling. Please sanctify me and those I love through Your Holy Spirit in the name of Christ Jesus. Open my eyes to find myself in You, clothed in Your righteousness. I cry out in my struggle for my eyes to rest upon the Messiah and to follow Him obediently through my struggles. Anoint me please and bless me with Your authority, wisdom, and understanding. Here is my heart Lord, cover and fill my heart in the essence of You so I will love others in all of my actions and follow You obediently all of my days. Teach me Your ways, Lord God Almighty. Jesus, deliver me from evil and lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Lord, I surrender all I am to You. I need Your wisdom, direction, and clarity concerning this situation in my life. Jesus, please remove the walls that are keeping me from seeing what is important and what I need to do… Jesus, I trust You to do what I cannot do and to always help me. I trust You to guide and protect me and those I love. Lord God Almighty, be glorified and use this situation for good according to Your purpose for me. Please give me this victory according to Your promises in Christ Jesus. Amen
