We all know God is patient. The Scriptures make it clear. Today, I was praying about patience with the Holy Father, and then I wondered; How does God feel about waiting? How does He do it? Does He focus on the outcome? Are there any aspects about waiting that God enjoys?
How can I wait better?
I am not patient. I hate waiting. I have prayed that God would draw me closer to Him so I could have His patience. It makes me smile to think that I am now waiting for patience… I guess that is why He gave me a sense of humor. I am actually smiling because I am waiting for patience. The sense of humor the Holy Father has given me helps me wait better. It helps to remember that God is NOT slow in answering my prayers.
2 Peter 3:9 (KJV)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Pray for those of us who are waiting on something.
Holy Father, I need to be Christ-centered and receive Your mercy and grace in order to wait on Your blessings. I repent of my attitude of accusing You of being too slow when answering my prayers. Please help me wait with a smile on my face. Lord Jesus, help me wait in You and Your peace for my prayers to be answered. Amen.

I agree. I believe that God has never been slow with His plan. We all need to understand that our life needs to be focused on His plan, not Ours…
